Guyanese Halwa

4 cups flour

2 cups sugar

1 can carnation

1 can condensed milk

1/2 gallon whole milk

In a large pot, patch the flour until lightly brown.

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Add the patch flour to the mixture. Mixture should look like pan cake batter.

Return to the pot and cook on very low heat for about 1 1/2 hour. Keep turning to prevent it from burning and forming lumps. When it begins to form a thick paste, it's done.

Tips: Raisin or sliced almonds can be added if you are not using it for pujas.

When you see the bottom of the pan while stirring, it means the halwa is done.
