1 box refrigerated Pillsbury Pie Crust.
12 oz currants
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
2 tbsp melted butter
The Pie Crust usually comes in 2 rolls.
Use only 1.
Mix the currants, cinnamon, sugar, and breadcrumbs, in a bowl.
Spread melted butter on the pie roll, then spread the currants and roll to form a log
Glaze with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
Place in a baking in pan with open edge down.
Bake at 375 Degrees for 45 minutes
Allow to cool and cut diagonally into slices.
This roll are very soft and flaky, enjoy with a nice cup of tea.
Tips:
If you like a lot of currants then you can add more, but not too much.
I usually soak the currants in a bowl of water for about 1/2 hour, then drain the water out.
