3 half-ripe green mango
2 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp garam masala or anchar masala
1 tsp roasted ground geera
1/2 tsp salt
few pieces of habanero peppers
3 cloves chop garlic
2 tbsp oil
3 tbsp chop cilantro
1 tbsp brown sugar
Cut mango into slices, wash and dry.
Mix together garam masala, curry powder, turmeric, and geera with 2 tbsp water.
In a medium pot, heat oil. Add chop garlic and saute for a few minutes. Add masala mixture to hot oil and continue to saute.
Add slice mango and mix the masala into the mango. Cook for a few minutes until masala is well incorporated into the mango.
Add about 1 1/2 cup boiling water to the mango and add salt, pepper, and cilantro.
Cover pot and continue to cook until mango is nice and soft.
Serve with your favorite dish.
Tips:
If you don't have anchar masala, you can used garam masala.
