Shanti's Arroz Con Grandules-(Rice with Pigeon Peas)




2 cups Uncle Ben's Original Converted Rice

4 cups water

2 tablespoon Sofrito 

2 tablespoon tomato sauce

2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 can pigeon peas

1 packet Sazon

On very low heat or #2 if your stove has numbers  Place everything in a pot and cover with Reynolds Wrap, 
then place the pot lid on top of the Reynolds Wrap. Cook for 1 hour and do not open the pot. Be careful of the steam when opening the pot. After an hour of cooking.
